This seems to be a continuation of the New Song started in 5:9. Verses 1-5 celebrate the destruction of Babylon, the Harlot Church. Verses 6-8 announce the marriage of the Lamb and his bride. "...Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb! ...These are the true words of God." (19:9).
